On 8th October 2023, a 19-year-old girl murdered her two younger sisters (6 & 7 years old) in a fit of rage. The depressing event happened not far from home – in a town in Uttar Pradesh, India. A recent poll on church-going kids conducted by us showed that 4 out of 10 children said they struggle with anger. Everyone who said they were getting angry stated ‘Anger’ as the primary difficulty they were grappling with in their homes and schools. The world has become an angry place to live! Wouldn’t you agree?
That’s why we have introduced ANGRY BIRDS – a four part lesson plan. Our goal is to share biblical answers to fight anger in God’s way.
Note: This is written with all age groups in mind. Please use your experience to tailor the depth of the message to best fit your audience.
