Bible Event
Bible Portion: I சாமுவேல் 25: 1 – 39a
Event Outline:
| David and his men, protected Nabal’s men and cattle when they were out in the field. Once David needed some help, so he sent word to Nabal. But Nabal was a rude man. Instead of helping he insulted David. David got angry and was about to fight Nabal and destroy him. Nabal’s wife, Abigail heard about it and quickly resorted to solving the problem. She went to David and spoke to him wisely. She said David was going to make a big mistake because of his anger. She warned him that he was going to do what God does not like. David realized his mistake and quickly put an end to his anger. God fought for David, and Nabal died of shock within days. Note: Please do not continue Abigail and David’s story any further than Nabal. This might derail you from the actual message. Message: The Bible says you are capable of sinning when you are angry. So, God wants you to let go of any anger before you go to bed. |
