15 mins:   [✨✨]

Activity:
Invite the children to share the pictures of God’s creation they completed as part of last session’s home project. Celebrate their work and encourage each child.

Next, teach the action song about the body parts God made:
🎵 Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes

Transition:
“Today, we are going to learn how God made everything we just sang about—our head, shoulders, knees, and toes!”

Time: 20 mins:   [✨]
Bible Portion: Genesis 2:4–8; Psalm 139:14
Activity: Story Time

Things Needed: Play dough or kneaded flour

Event Outline:
God made the whole world by His Word. He spoke, and birds, fish, and animals came into being. Then God made the very first human.

God took dust from the ground and carefully shaped each part of the body.
“Shall we try that too?”

(Give each child a small piece of dough. As you name each body part, help the children shape it—head, eyes, hands, legs—until they create a small human figure.)

Then God breathed the breath of life into the man.
(Act as if gently breathing into the clay figure.)

The man came alive—he could see, think, speak, and move, just like you. His name was Adam.

Even when you were being formed in your mother’s tummy, God saw you and made you carefully and beautifully.

“Would you like to thank God for making you?”
(Lead the children in a short prayer.)

Time: 20 mins:   [✨✨ / ✨]
Activity: Finger Painting

Prepare natural paint by boiling beetroot in water for 20–30 minutes and allowing it to cool. (You may add a little vinegar to help preserve the color.)

Give each child a plain sheet of paper and some beetroot paint. Ask them to use their fingers to paint a body part God created—eyes, nose, ears, hands, or legs.

5 mins:   [✨]

Inform the children that they will learn why God created other humans in the next session. Before then, ask them to complete the following home project

👉 Draw your friends in a paper and bring it to class

Each lesson does not have a separate memory verse. Instead, children are encouraged to memorize entire chapters or Bible portions. For Unit 1 (New Account), the memory portion is

Psalm 33 : 1-9

We would love to hear about your experience!
Would you take a moment to share what went well, what could be improved, or anything new you tried that worked especially well?

Thank you! 💖
