How it all started

Jesus for Kidz (J4K) is a church-based Children’s organisation founded by Mrs. Linda Shiny in 2014. Our mission is to introduce Jesus to kids in a way they understand. “Kids Camp” is our speciality. Since 2014 we have been launching lesson plans for kids’ camps each year. We also conduct year-round workshops for Sunday school Teachers, Directors and Pastors. Our story

We believe that the local church is a powerful institution established by God to bring about a change in society. We endeavour to work with God and be a catalyst for the children’s wing of this great transformation agent, the local church. Under God’s guidance and the support of our partner churches and ministries, our Director, Linda Shiny has been passionately training children’s ministry leaders towards this goal.

Our team is as dynamic as our teaching methodology. We would like to give a big shout-out to the fellow labourers who worked behind the scenes day and night and made J4K possible. We partner closely with about 5 churches and organizations in India who support us with their people resources.

Our Reach

God enables us to work with about 40 churches across India and Globe (Abu Dhabi, Canada, Germany) every year through our Kids Camp lessons, Sunday School lesson plan and other initiatives and reach thousands of kids yearly.

Our Founder

Mrs. Linda Shiny, daughter of Rev. Devadasan Kalaiarasan, Bethel AG Kolathur, Chennai and wife of Ps. John Finney, Christ AG church, Madurai, is the Founder and Director of J4K. What started as a small blog, God has established and expanded to bless churches across the globe. Her passion for kids started around the age of 9, when her mother, Ps. Vahitha Devadasan encouraged her to take her first Sunday School. Linda started Sunday School as a hobby. But in the age of 10, she had her first real encounter with God (though being a Pastor’s kids from birth) and gave her life to Jesus Christ. She soon realized what a great difference it makes to walk with God at a very young age. Since then her passion has been to introduce this Jesus to kids of every generation in a way they understand. Professionally (Tent-making job) she is a Software Engineer and loves coding. When not busy with J4K/ Office work, you can catch her painting, gardening and playing guitar.
