Kids Camp

Have you been to a scouts camp? Have you noticed how it is nearly a hundred times more interesting than the class room sessions? Ever wondered why? Camp is a multi-dimensional experience. Classroom is mostly a one way road.

J4K Kids Camp aims at giving the children a camp-like experience so that they would personalize the message and make it their lifestyle. You make ask if it possible to do that with the limited resources in the church. Our answer is, “Absolutely yes!” With the right tools and techniques you can!

Here’s a video explainer of Kids Camp.

Getting Started

J4K Kids Camp is for children aged 3 to 15. The Camps are conducted by the local churches. J4K team provides the lesson plan for the camp and trains the Directors & Guides. The teachers are called “Guides”, the students “Campers” throughout the camp and the volunteers, “Friends”.

We provide two versions of lesson plan:

Which one should you choose for your church?

Oswald J. Smith says, “A church that does not evangelize will fossilize”. You will be able to reach out to the children in the society through satellite camps. At the same time, the church has to be revived from time to time because “A revived church is the only hope for a dying world”, says Andrew Murray. That is what the church camp will help you do. As you can see church camp and satellite camp are two sides of the same coin. Therefore, our recommendation is that you try out both in your church. You can host one in the summer and another during the winter holidays!
