I asked a “simple” question to our Sunday School kids at church – “Why do we call God, God? What makes God, God?” I knew it was a deep question. But I was confident that my kids could answer.

And of course, they had great answers –

One kid said, "God is God because He created us".

"Human history goes back only 6000-6500 years. So, if that is the case was He not God millions and millions of years before that? What if He hadn't created us at all. Would He still be God?" I argued.

Another child interrupted, "He is God because He died for us".

"Hmm same logic applies, God became man and we call Him Jesus only about 2000 years ago. Was He not God before that?" (I had my Bible pointing to the size of the New Testament and comparing it to the Old)

By now almost the entire class was confused. And that’s exactly where I wanted them to be!

Often times, we take God for granted. It could be because we keep hearing about Him over and over again in the church circles. For those outside He is just an irrelevant ancient relic in this post-modern world.

Only one man in the history of human kind, dared to ask this question to God directly. While I read this incident from the Bible I noticed something very mind-boggling – The way God responded. He was not put-off by the question. He didn’t feel insulted. Instead He replied with such an excitement that makes you think, “Man, He was waiting for someone to ask Him that question”. He sounds like a kid in a candy store. He literally goes crazy with a travel itinerary. I mean, you should read it for yourself – Exodus 3 and 33. Or you can read the preview of our new lesson plan.

It kept me thinking – What is not to Like, Share or Subscribe about our God! I jumped right into it. I landed on the idea of going back the basics of our relationship with God – Identifying who He is. The outcome is the Kids Camp material – Like, Share, Subscribe (Originally launched in 2023) You can use this lesson plan to host a mini-camp every Sunday for 5 weeks. Or you could have an exclusive 5 day camp. The team has taken a huge effort to make it as easy to use as possible.

We invite you to join us in our mission and take this message to kids everywhere starting from those in your neighborhood. Let’s introduce Jesus to kids in a way they understand!

Here’s what our partners in mission have to say about the Camps they hosted. We are very grateful to God for the privilege of being fellow laborers in Christ.

Elim AG Church, Virudhachalam, Tamil Nadu

This camp felt Different because talking about God was so nice and heartwarming. Especially carnival double blessing. During the Carnival on third day, the characters came alive and the kids enjoyed. During the gospel session we enacted a skit, “King and his mom”. The kids related to the sacrifice of the King and committed their lives to Jesus. Thanks, team and God bless. Keep rocking for Jesus. Grow more to serve Jesus more.

ACA Velachery, Tamil Nadu

Students were filled with the Holy Spirit. Many saw visions of path of light and darkness and how they had to overcome the struggle. Apt Theme, good songs. Carnival idea was good. The satellite version was very good. Training was nice.

Emmanuel AG Church, South Andaman

God did great things in kids camp. Most of the kids who attended were from non-Christian background. They got to know Jesus in the camp and started a relationship with Him. The learnt about who He is and how much He loves us. During the Gospel session God touched their hearts. Kids enjoyed the kids camp, scripture funfair, selfie station, carnival, song session and theme presentation. Some of them have committed to continuing the regular church Sunday school. All Glory to Jesus! Amen!

Intouch Fellowship, Chennai, Tamil Nadu
